So the Bama saga continues… I’m not sure the last I reported, but Ron (her new owner) has renal cancer. He has taken a turn for the worse and the doctors have not given him long to live (4-6 months). If you’re of God fearing mind, please say a prayer for this very nice man that this isn’t the case. They came and picked Bama up this past weekend and needed to really talk as a family to decide if they were going to keep her or not – totally understandable. I talked to him today and they have decided that they are. I’m not sure it’s the best decision, but I asked to make sure everyone was on board (the wife was not real excited about Bama at first, but when I met her was very nice and really did seem to love that crazy dog). He assured me that they were and Bama was no longer my dog. *sniff* HOWEVER, they’re still in their small apartment so we got her back today. Their house is scheduled to be done May 15th so Bama will move in when they do. I have to say that I’m glad to have these last couple weeks with her, but having her gone was nice too so I’ll be ready for that time. I guess I got so used to living with the craziness of three dogs that I never realized just how crazy it was until she was gone!
We also have a possible interested party in Vader (no pressure Cheri!). It will be so weird for me to only have one dog and I’ll be very sad for Bear cause I think at first she’ll be lonely, but we’ll just have to be sure to play with her that much more!
In Willy news, he has been screaming for god knows what reason since Friday. He’ll be fine and playing and then all of a sudden start to whine and scream. We’re hoping it’s just teething (we did take him to the doctor Monday who said that everything they could see looked fine) and that it will go away SOON. We’ll see how he does tomorrow at daycare… should be interesting!
