SNOW! Already?!? YES! For those of you in warmer parts of the world, it snowed here today! No, it wasn’t significant, but there were definite flurries and just the fact that it was cold enough to is crazy! I fortunately like cold weather – although I’d prefer it hold off until after Halloween. There’s still many fun fall things to be done and blistering cold doesn’t make them as awesome as they should be!
Saturday night was the Hanson Haus Halloween party. A good time as always! Pictures will soon be up on our Flickr site so be sure to check them out! Brandon, Laurie & I were far too lazy to come up with actual costumes, so we got some sheets from the thrift store and were ghosts… for about 1 minute. We took a few pictures and quickly shed our sheets. I promise to be more creative next year. Although I don’t think I’ll ever surpass the tornado. That costume was SUH-WEET!
Today we took Will & Mac to the pumpkin patch. It was FRIGID and very windy. Poor Mac was so bundled up, it was almost like she wasn’t even there! We’ll have to be sure and make a bigger deal (and go earlier!) next year when she can really appreciate it. We got some good pictures of Will, but it’s too bad it was so cold. He wanted to stay and play on all the wooden trains and trucks, but his eyes were watering and we knew it was time to go. He loved feeding the animals like always, but didn’t particularly like it when the momma pig came over to say hi! The llama sure liked him though!
