It’s been a good & bad week for us with little Mackenzie. She went for her 6 month check up on Monday and was great. 90th percentile for weight, lookin’ good. She got 2 shots and of course screamed, but not as bad as at 3 months. Monday night however, she puked twice… on me. 
Since then she has been fussy and not wanting to eat or nap. Which, for her, isn’t totally unusual, but it’s worse than it normally is. She puked one more time on Wednesday night and hasn’t been sleeping as good as she has been for the last month or so. Other than that though, she’s happy and acting normal during the day.
Thursday morning, we saw a tooth poking through! As horrible as it is to hope that my little girl was sick, I hope that it was/is some sort of virus rather than all that trouble for one little tooth. Cause if I have to go through that every time? We’re gonna have issues!
Also on Monday at the doctor’s office, she sat for a long time all by herself! She’s been doing great at home too although there’s definitely more distraction here.
I will be taking her to the doctor again tomorrow because we’re seeing some bruise like marks inside her ears. Those popped up yesterday and the medical professionals in the family aren’t quite sure what they are (or can’t diagnose via telephone anyway!) so better safe than sorry.
It’s been a trying week… let’s just say Mac’s lucky she’s cute!
