Brandon has been out of town since last Monday. It’s been rough – Mac has been crabby here and there as always, but we’re powering through. Will has been GREAT. We’ve had a lot of play dates to keep us busy too. It’s so nice to have so many wonderful friends.
Before Brandon left his parents and our nephew Logan came for a visit from Alabama. We had a great weekend – went downtown to Millenium Park, Ribfest, petting zoo, and played outside. There are pictures on our Flickr site!
The kids are changing EVERY DAY. Will is such a little man now. I can hold a conversation with him and he’s so funny. And yesterday I caught him peddling the tricycle at school!! Every time we try to get him to do it at home, he acts like he can’t so I’ll have to put him out there and make him now! Mac is a little stinker, but so freaking cute. Last week we got rid of her nuk cold turkey (it was more a toy/object than a soother anyway). She can give kisses, say “go go go”, and is starting to crawl more on her knees. She pulls herself up too! She’s not walking yet, but we’re working on getting those feet moving. The girl will eat ANYTHING you put in front of her. Last week I discovered that she loves BEETS! Must get that from Daddy!
Don’t let them fool you – this is actually a rarity. Will is ususally yelling at Mac for taking his cars and trains. “NO MAC! That’s MINE!”
