So as I sit and type this fantastic blog, the baby has the hiccups. This is still a weird sensation for me as Will never had them (or if he did, I didn’t notice). It’s just this rhythmic thumping in the lower half of my uterus. Quite strange…
Anywho, we went to the Red Bull Flugtag today and visited with Cory & Debbie. It was fun! The things people think are going to fly are just ridiculous, but it’s great to watch them crash & burn. 
It was a lot of walking for me and a long day for Will who woke up at 6 am and only took like a 15 minute nap, but well worth it.
Will was surprisingly happy most of the day (until Uncle Cory told him no!) and fell asleep on the way home at like 6:30. I’m anticipating another early morning tomorrow.
The basement remodeling is going well. All of the framing, electric and insulation is done and the drywallers are coming Monday morning. The drywall will take about a week and then we can prime, get all of the trim in, paint, and get the carpet. Still seems like a lot, but since the most amazing Sin Van V has offered to help with the painting, I know it will go well. It’s shaping up quite nicely and I can not WAIT for it to be finished. It’s already been nice to have our family room in the basement back (despite not having a ceiling, we’ve cleaned it out enough to be able to watch TV down there!). It’ll be great when Will has a whole play area to himself… and when it’s adjacent to my office/scrapbook/sewing room, how can we go wrong!
